Product Description

Polyken 225FR Flame Retardant Duct (Cargo Pit) Tape is an excellent flame retardant polyethylene-coated waterproof cloth duct tape with an exceptionally aggressive adhesive which bonds to a variety of substrates including steel and plastic. Polyken 225FR has high tensile strength for difficult applications, resists flagging and lifting, is solvent and abrasion resistant, and has a crisp, straight tear right from the roll. This tape is particularly useful in applications where flame retardancy is required. Use Polyken 225FR for sealing ductwork, fiberglass insulation, wire harness insulation, and building applications. Because of its moisture resistant and adhesive characteristics, Polyken 225FR is used for cargo pit applications for freight-carrying aircraft like seaming and repairing cargo compartment liners and covering pins and rivets.
